This policy explains what personal data WannaStream collects through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what rights you have over it. It covers this marketing site only. Client viewing portals are governed separately by the agreement with the organisation that operates them.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote form, we collect the information you type into it: your name, organisation, what you want to stream, your email address, and optionally your phone number and a free-text message.

Alongside your submission we also record the approximate country and city derived from your network connection, and the page you submitted from. This gives us context when we reply and helps us spot abuse. We do not store your full IP address with your enquiry.

If you email us directly instead, we receive whatever you put in that email.

Information collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices and browsers they use. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, uses no fingerprinting, and does not track you across other websites. It tells us about patterns in aggregate; it cannot identify you, and it is not combined with your form submission.

To protect the form from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether a submission comes from a real browser. It processes your IP address and technical signals about your browser for that check. It is not used to track you across websites.

Our hosting provider keeps standard security and delivery logs.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

WhatWhyLegal basis
Quote form submissions To answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to prepare a quote Steps taken at your request before entering a contract
Turnstile bot check To stop spam and automated abuse of the form Our legitimate interest in keeping the service usable and secure
Cookieless analytics To understand how the site is used and improve it Our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our own site
Server and security logs To keep the site available and protect it from attack Our legitimate interest in securing our systems

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Cookies

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, so there is nothing to opt into and no consent banner to click through — a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.

The only thing that may be stored in your browser is a short-lived token set by Cloudflare Turnstile as part of the bot check on the contact form. It is strictly necessary to make the form work and is not used to track you.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site or the contact form.

Your rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner, our supervisory authority (idpc.org.mt). You may also complain to the authority in the country where you live.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate-limited, and are transmitted to our email provider over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.

Children

This site is aimed at organisations, not individuals, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in quietly.
